Need a break? Just a little one?
A few years back I took my kids to Cooks Park for a change of pace. We took a nice long walk, played in the theater, and then went to the playground for a little bit before going home.
We got a huge surprise when we got to the playground – there were 2 girls in the little building that had been hired by the town to do arts and crafts with the kids. They did some arts and crafts (less than $2 a kid) and then played on the playground with the kids. I was in heaven!!
The program is starting up again this summer and will be at Cooks and Locust Parks Monday – Friday from 8:30am-4pm. They break for lunch from 11:45-12:45 each day. Tell them Albany Mommy sent you!
