If you had 2 hours….

What would you do if you had 2 hours to yourself tomorrow?  Would you go shopping, get a mani/pedi, sleep, read a book, lunch with a friend, or go to the gym?  It seems like we all WISH we had 2 hours, but do you really know how you would spend it?

I think it would take me a minute to think of something that would maximize my time which would probably mean do at least 2-3 things at the same time.  I probably am not the best example which is why I wanted to write about it.  I think we are all going too fast.  Racing through life trying to get somewhere, but not really sure where or what’s at the finish line.  I am definitely guilty of this.  I think with my girls being this young and things being so hectic, I am happy just to make it through the day with no major catastrophe’s.  I am hoping that as the “new mom” in me wears off a little and the girls get a little older that I will start to slow down, relax and enjoy.  I don’t want to make it sound like I am not “livin la vida loca”, but I know I could do a much better job taking moments for what they are and cherishing moments that I will probably not have again.

So…to answer the question of what I would do with 2 hours.  I would say go to a yoga class.  I always walk out feeling balanced and wonder why I deprive myself of something that makes me feel so good.

What would you do?

I agree I feel like everyone is just moving way too fast and should really take some time to slow down and enjoy what is right in front of you.

If I had 2 hours to myself I would go for a run or even an extremely long walk. This simple activity brings me peace by allowing me to clear my head and forget about everything else going on. I usually feel re-energized and ready to take on anything after a good run.
