Silly Sundays

This is my inexpensive way to amuse children, shamelessly stolen from my little sister.

Buy regular inexpensive sponges at the store, cut them into different shapes( stars, circles, squares...).
Then get out your washable paints and let them stamp away!  I have discovered that regular washable paint works better than Crayola fingerpaint- for some reason that is too gelly.

I have found that you can find directions for anything on the web.  My son's class recently painted tees with their handprints.  I went online to find out how to do it at home and found this awesome idea for painting onsies to give to a new Mom on Rookie Moms.  Of course, mine will never look as good as their's, but check it out.  Be sure to read all the comments too, there are some good suggestions there.
